Rosa Saito may not be everyone’s idea of a fashion model. She’s 72 years old and only recently realized how much she loved modeling.
She did, however, show that beauty is not defined by the world’s superficial and traditional beauty standards. Rosa Saito thinks that in the world of modeling, age is just a number.
She remembered how much she had loved the arts even as a child, and how often she had shown this in class. Rosa said, “I was the only one who drew pictures that told stories on the walls of the classroom.
Like the rest of us, Rosa experiences her fair share of struggles in life. When she was compelled to take care of her elderly mother while others her age were in school or at work, she was just 22 years old.
She was left with their three children after her husband passed away in 2000. She has had to raise kids on her own ever since.
Despite her struggles, she turned to gardening for solace. “It is essential to look for and discover yourself.” And I’m with them in my quiet time (plants). “I go to my garden and interact with them,” Rosa said.
Rosa’s Career as a Fashion Model
Rosa never saw herself as a model, especially at her age, but she had always known she should do something artistic.
It started when she was unexpectedly approached by two modeling scouts who asked her to join their agency. After that, she was approached by a photographer who wanted her to serve as their model.
After all, it had cost money for me to let the concept evolve for a year. “It was done three times by Mega modeling agency specialists and once by a photographer.” I wasn’t going to enter into it haphazardly, “Rosa told a story.
Rosa, 68, wanted to try modeling despite having no prior expertise in the field. She took the route she was always intended to take thanks to her courageous attitude.
She finally identified her main area of interest and is continuing pursuing it. To make it easier to say, she even changed her given name, Setsuko Saito, to Rosa Saito.
Rosa seems to be the industry’s much-needed breath of fresh air. In just one year, she gained over 22,000 followers and was an overnight star.
Rosa, on the other hand, did not want attention. Rosa said, “I simply want to do my best in what I love and to find myself. I told myself, “Be what God wants. ” If I don’t try, I’ll never know.”
Rosa’s Goals for the Beauty Sector
Rosa is naturally tall and slim, and she always thinks about how she looks. She was brought up using only natural remedies, never using aspirin.
“It was all about tea, and in my core, I’m kind of anti-chemistry,” the speaker said. As a result, I always took care of myself with aloe, coconut oil, and olive oil “She spoke out.
She acknowledged that there are things about herself that she wishes she could change, but insisted that she is otherwise content with who she is.
“The term “aging” doesn’t seem suitable. I’d say education. The more I learn, it seems like the less I know because I’m still learning. Time does pass, but, my God in heaven, what is time? I would grade my soul as a 22 if I had to.
She finds the beauty industry’s standards to be rather onerous but is hopeful that they will change.
“I sense that things are shifting slowly. Companies really need to open up more in that sense and see these potential clients because people are living longer and taking better care of themselves.
