Being a woman isn’t always easy, so we’ve gathered up all kinds of cool hacks that will make life a little more simple. Check out how you can take your daily routines to the next level with the tips ahead!
1. Button Up!
Do your favorite jeans from last summer no longer quite fit? No problem — you can still do them up properly by putting an elastic band around the button and guiding it through the buttonhole.
2. Expand Your Shoes
If your shoes are feeling a little tight, you can simply expand them using the following method. First, fill two resealable freezer bags halfway with water and place them in each shoe. Next, place the shoes in a larger freezer bag and keep them in the freezer until the water in both bags has frozen. Afterwards, remove your shoes from the freezer and take out the bags
3. Zipping Up Dresses
If there’s no help at hand to zip up your dress, simply attach a (sufficiently sturdy) necklace to the zipper and pull it up.
4. Uneven Powder Compact
No matter how careful you try to be at the start of each new powder compact, somehow the middle section always runs out first over time. To make sure you get an even sweep from now on, crush the remaining powder and mix it with rubbing alcohol until a creamy mass forms. Give the makeup time to dry and set, and your powder will be as good as new in no time!
5. Remove glued chewing gum
With ice. That’s a trick of our mothers, who everyone knows. So it hardens, and then we use a thin, sharp object like a knife or lime to remove it. It is not pleasant, and you have to be careful, but it is the best solution.
Oh, and of course, this also serves to hair, so no need to worry. Nothing to make a concoction of everything we have in the fridge, to remove gum from hair.
6. A toning massage
A tennis ball can be applied even at home and it’s really easy to use.
You’ll need:
- 1 tennis ball
- An exercise mat
You can roll out practically your entire body with a tennis ball. Choose the part of your body that you’d like to massage. Place the ball on a mat and lay down with the ball nestled right by your shoulder, back, or any other zone
7. Get glowing and healthy skin
The combination of sugar and tomato makes an amazing facial scrub. It will remove dead skin cells and give your skin a healthy glow. Cut a tomato into slices, and sprinkle some sugar on it. Gently rub your skin with it in small circular motions. Leave it on for 10 minutes, and wash off with water. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times a week.
8. Natural curls can be achieved without tongs
To make natural-looking waves in your hair, you don’t have to own special tongs. You can just twist your dry hair and heat it with a hair dryer. If you’ve got thick hair, it’ll take more than one twist.
9. Use freshly ground coffee as a scrub
Everybody knows that using coffee for exfoliating dead skin cells is a good idea. However, many girls scrub themselves with used coffee grounds. In fact, it is more effective to use fresh coffee. It is rich in caffeine that lifts skin and antioxidants that help to nourish it. After all, fresh coffee leaves a nice scent on your skin after you wash the crumbs off.
10. Achieve the best French manicure by using a rubber band
Getting the perfect nails can be complicated, and any lady knows that’s the truth. Instead of spending money on a nail salon, use this hack, and do your own!
11. Hot water can save your makeup
Mascara has a habit of clumping, and when this happens, it gets everywhere. And for some, this means a poke to the eye. Instead of having a painful experience or getting frustrated with your makeup, run your mascara brush under hot water. This trick is literally a miracle worker.
12. Quick way to shave the pills with razor
Put the piece of clothes on a flat surface and make sure it is well flattened. Bring your sharp razor and go over your clothes very gently. Make sure you don’t accidentally harm the fabric itself. To do that, you need to stretch the part of the clothes you’ll start with, then go over it with the razor. The razor should be placed at an angle and use it in the same direction of the pilling. Be very cautious as you do that, in order not to cut your clothes.
13. Waterproof your shoes with beeswax
Here’s a ridiculously easy way to waterproof your canvas shoes using nothing but beeswax and a blowdryer
