On June 12, 1975, he said yes to the love of his life, Lisa, to whom he was married until his death in 2009, and the love story of this couple seems taken from a storybook.

They met when Patrick started dance school. Lisa was 15 and Swayze was 18.

However, it took some time before love truly blossomed between the future couple. “If I started posing or wanted to do my Casanova routine, Lisa would completely turn her back on me and not say anything,” Swayze told People.

“We went on a lot of quiet dates.” But even though the couple had found the love of their lives in each other, there was one thing left unresolved.
